Here is a redesign of the Idaho Falls Youth Arts Centre website.  The old site was created in 2010 and lacked the ability to allow multiple editors as well as handle various sizes of screen or mobile viewing.  Originally created in 2015, the board wasn't able to fill out and maintain the site so it didn't go live.  It wasn't until 2017 when it was reintroduced, accepted, and went live.

Powered by Joomla!, this came from one of the Shape5 templates, a restaurant template that worked well in having the silos of the organization.  Individuals are able to update their own articles and publish where those in oversight are able to edit and make sure the message is consistent throughout the site.  Integrating Facebook was important since updates were going through that platform on a much more regular basis.

IFYAC old website (2017)IFYAC old website (2017)I wanted to use Joomla! for this very reason - to allow multiple people to run content in their own categories - the theory being that the more updates and relevant the site is, the more useful and active it will be.  However, it has been a chore to get people to buy into updating the website, which might be typical for a volunteer board.  Every one of those folks on the board are wonderful people, but getting them to make an article in addition to what they already volunteer is pretty difficult.  So many of the silos remain non-updated.

However, the site can not only be used as a vehicle for dissembling information but also with forms and gathering information from the public.  Ticket availability, perhaps t-shirts, videos, etc. can all be offered through registration forms.  I'm thinking I will round that out a bit soon.
